| HEALTH & SAFETY Over the past years, our industry has taken on a wide variety of changes. One of the most significant changes has been the increased awareness for health and safety. Gone are the days of drilling alone or without the proper personal protective equipment. All of our equipment is late model and has the latest technology for emergency shut down systems. Employees must first complete an extensive Safety Orientation Program which includes 40 hours of classroom training, homework, and working as an extra man while under strict supervision of our management team. Our field crews are also railroad safety trained in compliance with FRA 49 CFR 214. Our employees are issued pre-approved health and safety gear and must wear only the items specified in order to be in compliance. Every Monday our field crews are briefed on a variety of topics ranging from day to day operations to well installation techniques. Health and Safety is the main reason for these meetings and is still the main topic of discussion. H.A.D., Inc. has also enacted a Safety Bonus Plan that gives our employees an extra initiative for a safe working environment. |
